Candle Care

Why is my candle tunneling?

Oh no, your candle's digging a tunnel! This happens when it doesn't get enough "me time" during its first burn. To keep it from feeling boxed in, make sure that first burn reaches all the way to the edges.

If your candle does tunnel, wrap just enough tin foil around your candle to cover it. Light your candle and allow the candle to heat up enough to melt the edges.

How do I prevent soot buildup on the container?

Worried about your candle's sooty habits? Trim its wick to 1/4" inch before each burn, and keep it away from drafts. Be sure to check out our candle care tips for more information.

Can I reuse or repurpose the container after the candle is finished?

Absolutely! Our candle containers are born recyclable. Give them a second chance as succulent homes, jewelry holders, or keepers of tiny treasures.

Why does my candle have a weak scent throw?

Feeling a little underwhelmed by the scent strength? Remember, scent throw likes to mingle, and it depends on room size, fragrance concentration, and air flow. Sometimes, a bigger room calls for more candles for a real fragrance fiesta!

How long can I burn my candle for?

You can burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. Even candles need to rest!

Are there any safety tips for candle burning?

Safety first! Always let your candle rest on a stable surface, away from flammable materials, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Check our candle care instructions for more pro tips.

What's the best way to store unused candles?

Keep those beauties cool and dry, away from the harsh sun, so the scent doesn't fade and the candle doesn't melt. Candles need their beauty sleep too!

How can I clean leftover wax from my candle vessel?

Pop it in the freezer or pour boiling hot water into your vessel for a few hours. The leftover wax will loosen making it easier to scoop out any leftover residue.

Wash your vessel with warm, soapy water and use as your heart desires.

What are your candles made of?

Our candles are the product of a beautiful blend of natural coconut and soy wax. This harmonious duet produces minimal soot for surfaces that stay effortlessly fresh. Plus, it likes to take its time to burn, so you can savor the moment!
