Why is my candle tunneling?

Tunneling happens when a candle isn’t burned long enough during its first few uses.

Always allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the jar to help prevent this.

How do I prevent soot buildup on the container?

Trim your wick to about ¼ inch before each burn and keep your candle away from drafts. This helps ensure a clean, even burn with minimal soot.

I’ve finished burning my candle! What should I do with the wax left at the bottom?

When about ½ inch of wax remains, it’s time to stop burning for safety. You can remove the leftover wax and repurpose the vessel through a few different methods:

1. To remove the wax, place the "Jhar" in the freezer for a few hours so the wax hardens and pops out easily.

2. Carefully pour hot water into the vessel to loosen the wax, let it sit until cool, remove the lifted wax, then wash your vessel with warm soapy water.

3. Lastly, if you have a wax warmer and you don't want the left over wax in your vessel to go to waste, you may scoop the wax out gently with a spoon, remove the wick and place the leftovers in your warmer for that extra little bit of burn time!

Can I reuse or repurpose the container after the candle is finished?

Yes! Once fully cleaned, candle vessels make great storage containers, planters, or décor pieces.

Why does my candle have a weak scent throw?

Scent throw can be affected by room size, airflow, and burn time. Larger spaces may require a longer burn or a larger candle to fully enjoy the fragrance.

Be sure to close your candle with the lid after each use to seal in the juicy aroma.

How long can I burn my candle for?

We recommend burning your candle for no more than 3–4 hours at a time to maintain the best scent and wick performance.

Are there any safety tips for candle burning?

Always burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, keep them away from flammable items, drafts, and never leave a candle unattended.

What's the best way to store unused candles?

Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their scent and appearance.

 What are your candles made of?

Our candles are hand-poured using a coconut soy wax blend, cotton wicks, and clean fragrance oils that are free from parabens and phthalates for a clean, even burn.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Due to the nature of our products, they are non-refundable and are final sale. We also do not offer exchanges.

I received a damaged and/or incorrect product. What should I do next?

Oh no! If the item(s) you received is damaged or incorrect, give it a once-over. If you spot any damage, snap some pics and reach out to us at plentifuljharsco@gmail.com with "OOPS - Order#" in the subject. Include your full name and order number for quick action.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We're quite the open-minded bunch! We accept cash, debit, and major credit cards.

When will my order ship?

Your order will be shipped once it's been processed. This process may take up to 5 business days.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Our team is committed to promptly processing and dispatching your orders. Typically, we require 3-10 business days for order processing, packing, and shipping. Once your order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email containing your shipment’s tracking number. This will allow you to monitor your order’s progress as it makes its way to its new home.

Uh-oh! My order's on a road trip to the wrong address! What's the rescue plan?

Once your order is processed, we are unable to change or update your address.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

As of now, we're maple syrup and poutine lovers only - we only ship within Canada. But don't fret, we're dreaming of spreading our scents far and wide in the future.
